The Tasmanian Skills Institute was formed with a clear objective: to improve the skill levels in Tasmanias workforce. To achieve this goal, we specialise in working with employers and employees, including apprentices, trainees and cadets.

The Tasmanian Skills Institute is comprised of the following industry units: Automotive, Construction, Electrotechnology, Natural Resources, Mining, Business, Metals, Human Services and Tourism & Hospitality. Please contact us if your business requires specialised training.
There is also a dedicated unit to focus on training for licensed skills, and provide learning services in the workplace. Workplace Learning Services is a unit which supports on-the-job training including recognition of current competencies and assessment processes.
